The plant boasts an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons of polyethylene and 500 thousand tons of polypropylene, making it the largest in Russia, and one of the biggest worldwide.

The plant boasts an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons of polyethylene and 500 thousand tons of polypropylene, making it the largest in Russia, and one of the biggest worldwide. The facility is also set to manufacture 244 thousand tons of byproducts. The capacity building efforts have tripled Sibur's polymer production capacity, crowning it as Russia’s "largest chemical plant”. Valued at $9.5 billion in total, the project is to ramp up Russia’s polyethylene production by more than 40%.
